Dog Portraits & Pattern Design

As an avowed dog lover, I’ll take just about any excuse to illustrate a favorite four-legged friend. Below are a few favorites, including gifts, personal projects, and surface design patterns.

Mock-up of a print of a dog hung on a coral wall with two pieces of aqua tape. The dog is black with large ears and sitting on a cloud on a pile of bright colored yarn pompoms

Mock-up of a tote bag with green background and dogs in birthday hats

“Birthday dogs” was a fun excuse to try out this fun color combo anchored by this grassy green. This print is in my Spoonflower shop.

Space dogs features a sneaky portrait of my own pups. This print is available on fabric, housewares, and wallpaper (pictured above) in my Spoonflower shop.

Mock-up of a pillow with a pattern featuring a light green background and illustrated faces of two dogs and two cats in darker green
Mock-up of a folded piece of fabric featuring a pattern with light brown background and drawings of two dogs and two cats in dark orange

This print was designed for a quilt project I created for my niece, featuring her four pets. (Yes, two cats snuck in to the dog party!)

Custom foursome from a very dog-friendly household.

Mock-up of a tea towel with print featuring blue, purple, and teal dachshunds wearing sweaters and other accessories

This “long dogs” print was a fun excuse to think of dapper accessories these dachshunds could wear.
