Disability Pride Coloring Sheet

In 2021, I was invited to create a coloring page for the Chicago Public Library celebrating Disability Pride Month . That year’s celebration was themed around disability and the arts, so I decided to feature famous creatives with disabilities. The sheet featured a “gallery wall” of framed portraits of painter Yayoi Kusama, composer Beethoven, writer Octavia Butler, painter Henri Matisse, painter Frida Kahlo, and writer Temple Grandin.

The coloring sheet was distributed at library branches across the city, including the branch where sent a photo of her toddler putting it to use (bottom right).
